Services at Comberton Baptist Church
We appreciate that visiting a new church for the first time can be a very daunting experience, especially if you are coming on your own. If you have a question that isn’t answered here, have a look at our Questions page or the I’m New page. Or you can get in touch and we will do our best to answer it.
When you arrive you will be welcomed at the door and this person will be able to answer any questions you may have.
On Sundays we meet from 10:30 am until about 11.45am. Our times together are relaxed and informal. We love creativity, music and learning about life from the Bible.
Our main aim is to encounter God and apply that in a real way in our lives. Services aim to include the whole family without too much focus on any one age group, so everyone feels part of what is happening and can get involved.
We start our services together with a time of worship in song and prayer. Unless it is an all-age service the children and young people leave for their own activities at around 10.50am. The shape of each service varies from week to week but a part of our time together will be spent looking at a passage from the Bible and seeing how this applies to our lives.
Prayer Meeting
Most Sunday evenings we meet in the Centre for a time of prayer together at 7.30pm.
